Roisin O’Hagan and Gerard Deane return with another news blast regarding the work of the Holywell Trust Diverse City Community Partnership and its partners. The Foyle Women’s Information Network has launched the annual Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. Rosie McCann from the organisation joins us to discuss the positive impact the collection has had for local families and charities and how you can assist with its continued success. We will be previewing two Podcast Special that will be released for free download and streaming in the coming week. The first will be available from Thursday 7th December titled “Brexit & Ireland: An Evening with Tony Connelly” and the second special, available on Monday 11th December features Dr. Martin Stern, a holocaust survivor who details his experiences of his time in different concentration camps. Roisin and Gerard will also be discussing three upcoming events; The City Centre Forum Engagement on Good Relations (December 7th), Carols in the Courtyard (December 8th) and their Teatime Event with Key DCSDC Officers on December 13th.
